GOLDEN PRIZE CLUB
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Last updated: 12 September 2026
1. The Promoter
1.1 The promoter is Golden Prize Digital Ltd, trading as Golden Prize Club (“Golden Prize Club”, “the Promoter”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a company incorporated in England and Wales under company number 16968323.
1.2 Our website is goldenprizeclub.co.uk (“the Website”).
1.3 You may contact us at help@goldenprizeclub.co.uk.
1.4 Our postal address for the free postal entry route is:
Golden Prize Club
124 City Road
London
EC1V 2NX
United Kingdom
unless a different postal address is expressly stated on the relevant Competition page.
2. Application of these Terms
2.1 These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to prize competitions operated by Golden Prize Club through the Website (“Competitions”).
2.2 Each Competition page may contain additional competition-specific information including the Prize, entry price, Entry Packages, maximum entries, maximum entries per person, opening and closing dates, Competition Question, free entry route, Milestone Cash Rewards and other significant conditions.
2.3 The information displayed on the relevant Competition page forms part of these Terms.
2.4 If there is a conflict between these general Terms and a specific Competition page, the specific Competition page will apply to that Competition to the extent of the conflict, unless the Competition page clearly states otherwise.
2.5 Significant conditions affecting whether a person may wish to participate will be displayed prominently on the relevant Competition page and should be read before entering.
3. Nature of the Competitions
3.1 Golden Prize Club intends its Competitions to operate lawfully outside the statutory definition of an unlawful lottery, including, where applicable, through a genuine free entry route and/or the use of skill, knowledge or judgement.
3.2 Where a Competition Question is used, Entrants may be required to select or provide an answer before entering.
3.3 Payment alone does not make an entry eligible to win.
3.4 Unless expressly stated otherwise on the Competition page, an Entrant may be permitted technically to complete an online purchase after submitting an incorrect answer. Any entry associated with an incorrect answer:
(a) may still constitute an allocated participation entry for administrative and Milestone progress purposes; but
(b) cannot win the main Competition Prize or a Milestone Cash Reward.
3.5 Only entries associated with the correct answer to the applicable Competition Question are “Eligible Entries” for the purpose of receiving a Competition Prize or Milestone Cash Reward.
3.6 The Promoter does not guarantee that any particular Competition Question will by itself satisfy the statutory skill threshold applicable to prize competitions. Where a Competition is also offered with a free entry route, that route forms part of the structure under which the Competition is operated.
4. Eligibility
4.1 Unless a Competition page states a narrower geographical restriction, Competitions are open to persons aged 18 years or over who are legally permitted to participate from their jurisdiction.
4.2 The following persons may not enter:
(a) employees or directors of the Promoter;
(b) employees of an agent or supplier directly involved in administering the relevant Competition; and
(c) immediate family or household members of those persons where their participation could reasonably create a conflict of interest.
4.3 By entering, you confirm that you satisfy the eligibility requirements and may lawfully participate.
4.4 The Promoter may request reasonable evidence of age, identity, residence or other eligibility criteria before awarding a Prize or Milestone Cash Reward.
4.5 Entries made using false details, multiple accounts intended to circumvent entry limits, automated systems, fraud, manipulation or other prohibited conduct may be disqualified.
5. How to Enter
5.1 Paid Online Entry
To enter using the paid online route:
(a) select the Competition;
(b) answer the Competition Question;
(c) choose the number of entries required, including an Entry Package where applicable;
(d) proceed to checkout;
(e) provide the required customer details;
(f) accept these Terms; and
(g) successfully complete payment.
5.2 A paid entry is not treated as confirmed until the Promoter has received confirmed payment and the corresponding entry or entries have been allocated.
5.3 Orders that are pending, failed, cancelled, unpaid or otherwise not successfully completed are not confirmed paid entries.
6. Entry Packages and Volume Discounts
6.1 Some Competitions may offer discounted Entry Packages or quantity-based entry discounts.
6.2 Entry Packages are intended to provide a convenient way of selecting a quantity of Competition entries. The Competition page will clearly display, as applicable:
(a) the number of entries;
(b) the total price;
(c) the applicable saving or discount; and
(d) the effective price per entry.
6.3 Any percentage saving displayed is calculated against the standard single-entry price for the same Competition at the relevant time, unless the Competition page clearly explains another basis.
6.4 Entry Package names such as Starter Pack, Value Pack, Premium Pack or Ultimate Pack are descriptive promotional labels only. They do not guarantee any particular result or increased probability beyond the additional number of entries actually obtained.
6.5 Where a quantity-based discount applies across a range rather than only at a displayed package quantity, the applicable price will be shown before checkout.
6.6 The price shown in the basket and at checkout before payment is the price payable for that order.
6.7 Entry Packages do not:
(a) remove the requirement to answer the Competition Question correctly in order to be eligible to win;
(b) guarantee a Prize or Milestone Cash Reward; or
(c) permit an Entrant to exceed any published entry limit.
6.8 Entry-package pricing may differ between Competitions. The package structure applicable when an order is placed will apply to that order; subsequent pricing changes will not normally apply retrospectively.
7. Free Postal Entry Route
7.1 A free postal entry route is available where stated on the Competition page.
7.2 To enter by post, send a postal entry by ordinary first or second class post to the address stated in clause 1.4 or the relevant Competition page.
7.3 Each postal entry must contain:
(a) your full name;
(b) date of birth;
(c) postal address;
(d) telephone number;
(e) the email address associated with your Golden Prize Club account, if applicable;
(f) the name of the Competition; and
(g) your answer to the Competition Question.
7.4 Each postal item constitutes one entry. Multiple free entries may be submitted up to the Competition’s applicable entry limit, but each entry must be posted separately.
7.5 Hand-delivered, bulk, illegible, incomplete, insufficiently stamped or otherwise non-compliant entries may be rejected.
7.6 A postal entry must be received before the published Closing Date and time. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt.
7.7 Accepted free entries are allocated an entry number and are treated on the same basis as equivalent paid entries for the main Competition mechanism.
7.8 Free entries remain subject to:
(a) the Competition Question;
(b) age and eligibility requirements;
(c) entry limits; and
(d) these Terms.
7.9 For Milestone Cash Rewards, accepted free entries count toward Milestone progress and may receive a Milestone Cash Reward on the same eligibility basis as paid entries, including the correct-answer requirement.
8. Entry Limits and Competition Period
8.1 Each Competition will state its Opening Date and Closing Date.
8.2 All times are London, United Kingdom time unless clearly stated otherwise.
8.3 The Competition page will state any overall maximum number of entries and any maximum number of entries permitted per Entrant.
8.4 Entries received after the Competition closes will not be included unless required to correct a technical or administrative error relating to an entry that was validly submitted before closing.
8.5 Closing dates or material Competition conditions will not be changed merely because a preferred level of paid entries has not been achieved.
8.6 If exceptional circumstances outside the Promoter’s reasonable control make a change necessary, the Promoter will act fairly, minimise disadvantage to Entrants and communicate the change prominently.
9. Selecting the Main Competition Winner
9.1 Unless the Competition page specifies another lawful mechanism, the main Competition winner will be selected randomly from Eligible Entries.
9.2 An Eligible Entry must satisfy the Competition Question and all other applicable eligibility requirements.
9.3 The draw will be conducted using the method stated on the Competition page.
9.4 Entry Packages do not alter how individual Eligible Entries are treated in the draw. Each allocated Eligible Entry represents one entry in the relevant Competition mechanism.
9.5 The Promoter may conduct or publish a live draw where stated.
9.6 The Promoter will retain sufficient records to demonstrate that the Prize was allocated in accordance with the published rules.
10. Milestone Cash Rewards
10.1 Availability
10.1 Milestone Cash Rewards (“MCRs”) are additional promotional cash rewards that may be enabled for selected Competitions.
10.2 MCRs are separate from the main Competition Prize.
10.3 If MCR is enabled, the Competition page will display the applicable entry thresholds and corresponding cash reward amounts.
Example:
500 entries → £100
1,000 entries → £150
3,000 entries → £250
The actual thresholds and amounts displayed for the relevant Competition apply.
10.2 Milestone Progress
10.4 Milestone progress is based on the number of confirmed or accepted participation entries recorded for the current Competition run.
10.5 Progress includes entries regardless of whether the Entrant selected the correct or incorrect answer.
10.6 Accordingly, an entry associated with an incorrect answer may advance the publicly displayed “Entries Reached” progress but cannot receive an MCR.
10.7 Accepted free postal entries also count toward MCR progress on the same basis.
10.3 Eligibility to Receive an MCR
10.8 Only an entry associated with the correct answer to the Competition Question is eligible to receive an MCR.
10.9 When an MCR threshold is reached, the MCR is allocated to:
the first MCR-eligible entry at or after the applicable Milestone threshold.
10.10 For example, where the £100 MCR is unlocked at entry 500:
- entry 500 incorrect → not eligible;
- entry 501 incorrect → not eligible;
- entry 502 correct → entry 502 receives the MCR.
10.11 An incorrect-answer entry can therefore contribute to reaching a Milestone but cannot itself receive the corresponding MCR.
10.4 Pending Confirmation
10.12 A paid entry must relate to a successfully completed order before an MCR can be finally assigned to that entry.
10.13 If the first eligible entry at or after a threshold has not yet reached the required confirmed order state, the Promoter will not skip that entry merely to award the MCR to a later entry.
10.5 Claiming an MCR
10.14 MCR winners will normally be contacted within 24 hours using the contact details associated with the winning order.
10.15 Winners will receive secure, step-by-step instructions to confirm their claim.
10.16 There is no fee to claim a Milestone Cash Reward.
10.17 Golden Prize Club will not require a winner to provide card details or online-banking credentials merely to release an MCR.
10.18 A secure claim link may expire for security purposes. Expiry of the link alone does not forfeit the MCR. A replacement secure link may be requested.
10.19 Confirmation of a claim does not itself mean the cash has already been paid.
10.20 Once a claim has been confirmed and any reasonable verification completed, the Promoter will arrange payment using the process communicated to the winner.
10.6 MCR Winner Publication
10.21 To demonstrate that MCRs have been validly awarded, the Promoter may publish limited information about an MCR winner.
10.22 The normal public format may be the winner’s first name and surname initial, for example:
Marius A.
10.23 A winner may object to publication or request reduced disclosure by contacting the Promoter.
10.24 Where publication is suppressed or limited, the public MCR table may instead show:
Winner confirmed
10.25 Objecting to publicity does not affect a winner’s right to claim or receive an MCR.
10.7 Refund, Cancellation or Invalid Entry
10.26 If an order associated with an unpaid MCR is subsequently cancelled, fully refunded, reversed or otherwise invalidated, the Promoter may void that MCR.
10.27 Where appropriate, the Milestone may then become available again for allocation to a future eligible entry.
10.28 An invalidated earlier winner is not treated as the replacement winner of a reopened MCR.
10.29 If an MCR has already been paid and the underlying order is subsequently cancelled, refunded or otherwise materially affected, the MCR may be placed under manual review.
10.30 The Promoter will not automatically recover an already-paid MCR solely because an automated status change occurs. Any recovery, adjustment or other action will be considered separately and in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances.
10.31 Where a refund or payment reversal creates uncertainty regarding MCR eligibility, the Promoter may place the MCR under review until the matter is resolved.
11. Prizes
11.1 The main Prize for each Competition will be described on the relevant Competition page.
11.2 Any cash alternative must be stated on the Competition page.
11.3 Unless otherwise stated, Prizes are non-transferable.
11.4 Where a Prize is a vehicle, unless the Competition page states otherwise:
(a) insurance is not included;
(b) the winner is responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance before using the vehicle;
(c) the winner is responsible for road tax and ongoing costs;
(d) the winner must hold any licence legally required to operate the vehicle.
11.5 Any estimated retail value is provided in good faith but may change.
11.6 Taxes or personal liabilities arising from receipt of a Prize are the winner’s responsibility except where the Promoter expressly agrees otherwise.
12. Winner Notification and Claim
12.1 Main Prize winners will be contacted using the contact details provided to the Promoter.
12.2 The Promoter may require identity and eligibility verification before releasing a Prize.
12.3 Winners must claim personally unless the Promoter expressly agrees otherwise.
12.4 If the winner cannot be contacted after reasonable attempts or fails to claim within the claim period stated on the Competition page or winner notification, the Promoter may select another eligible winner where the published rules permit this.
12.5 Different claim procedures may apply to the main Competition Prize and MCRs.
13. Winner Information and Publicity
13.1 The Promoter must be able to demonstrate that valid awards have taken place.
13.2 The Promoter may therefore publish or make available limited winner information in accordance with applicable promotional rules.
13.3 Before entering, Entrants are informed that limited winner information may be published.
13.4 Winners may contact the Promoter to:
(a) object to public publication; or
(b) request that the amount of information published be reduced.
13.5 Where a winner objects, the Promoter may still provide information to the Advertising Standards Authority or another competent authority where required.
13.6 Participation in broader promotional photography, video or testimonials will not be compulsory unless separately agreed.
14. Refunds and Cancellations
14.1 Subject to statutory rights and these Terms, confirmed Competition entries are generally non-refundable once allocated.
14.2 Refunds may be issued where:
(a) required by law;
(b) a payment has genuinely been duplicated;
(c) the Promoter cancels a Competition and a refund is the appropriate remedy; or
(d) the Promoter otherwise determines that a refund is appropriate.
14.3 Where an order is fully refunded or cancelled, corresponding Competition entries may be removed.
14.4 A refund or cancellation may affect any MCR associated with the relevant order as described in clause 10.7.
14.5 Any approved refund will normally be made to the original payment method where reasonably possible.
14.6 Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory statutory rights.
15. Fraud, Abuse and Prohibited Conduct
15.1 The Promoter may investigate entries where it reasonably suspects:
(a) fraud;
(b) payment manipulation;
(c) chargeback abuse;
(d) multiple-account abuse;
(e) automation or bots;
(f) interference with the Website;
(g) manipulation of Competition systems; or
(h) a material breach of these Terms.
15.2 Where reasonably justified, the Promoter may invalidate affected entries, suspend an account or withhold a Prize pending investigation.
15.3 Any decision to withhold a Prize must be connected to a qualifying requirement clearly stated in these Terms or the relevant Competition rules.
16. Technical Problems
16.1 The Promoter is not responsible for entries that fail solely because of circumstances outside its reasonable control, such as telecommunications or internet failures.
16.2 Where a technical error affects entry allocation, winner selection, pricing or an MCR, the Promoter may take reasonable corrective action to restore the position that should have existed.
16.3 The Promoter will not knowingly exploit a technical error to disadvantage Entrants.
16.4 A manifest duplicate allocation or system error does not create an entitlement to multiple Prizes or cash rewards where only one was legitimately due.
17. Data Protection
17.1 Personal information is processed in accordance with the Golden Prize Club Privacy Policy.
17.2 Personal information may be used where reasonably necessary for:
(a) administering Competitions;
(b) processing entries and payments;
(c) verifying eligibility;
(d) contacting winners;
(e) administering claims and payments;
(f) preventing fraud;
(g) meeting legal, regulatory, tax and accounting obligations.
17.3 Financial and audit records relating to Prizes and MCRs may need to be retained after a Competition or product page has ended or been deleted.
17.4 Public winner information will be limited and subject to the objection/reduction process described in these Terms.
18. Changes, Suspension and Cancellation
18.1 The Promoter may update these general Terms from time to time.
18.2 Material changes will not ordinarily be applied retrospectively to disadvantage Entrants who entered under earlier terms.
18.3 A Competition may be suspended, cancelled or amended where reasonably necessary because of circumstances beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, legal requirements, fraud, system integrity or other serious operational circumstances.
18.4 Where material changes affect existing Entrants, the Promoter will take reasonable steps to communicate them and act fairly.
19. Limitation of Liability
19.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
19.2 Subject to clause 19.1, the Promoter is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control.
19.3 Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
20. Social Media
20.1 Unless expressly stated otherwise, Competitions are not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube or other third-party social-media platforms.
20.2 Entrants release those platforms from responsibility to the extent permitted by law in relation to the Competition.
21. Governing Law
21.1 These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
21.2 If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also benefit from mandatory protections applicable in your place of residence.
21.3 Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from exercising any jurisdictional right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
